The Politics of Performance

Ana Vujanović and Jan Ritsema will discuss the social aspect of a spectacle, always fixed in context and public sphere discourse.

During the seminar at the Museum, Vujanović and Ritsema (apart from the effects of their work) will present the practices of creating platforms of performative art, which are based on the fusion of theory and practice. They will invoke the political questions of the spectacle, the staging of knowledge, the conditions of event-production, and finally the symbolic areas of the curator and the playwright.
