As You Can Hear
A series of concerts and sound projections

“As You Can Hear” is a series of concerts and sound broadcasts that accompanies the exhibition "As You Can See. Polish Art Today,” which brings outstanding figures and new phenomena on the Polish music scene closer to museum visitors (and others).

Not the “marriage of art and sound," but imagination, intransigence as well as composing and performance skills constitute the criteria behind the programme of “As You Can Hear.” Not only does the series present distinguished figures, well-established on the Polish and world’s scene for years, whose impressive achievements have become a part of the history of music (Bohdan Mazurek and Zbigniew Karkowski), but also their younger successors eager to experiment (Jacek Sienkiewicz) and interested in seeking new territories and ways of expression (Anna Zaradny). Finally, the series presents musicians who break down stylistic barriers and let in some fresh air (RSS Boys, Paweł Kulczyński).

Apart from concerts and listening sessions, the Museum’s Auditorium will host projects prepared exclusively for “As You Can Hear" event: an all-day concert of Boring Drug (including Łukasz Jastrubczak and Tomasz Kowalski, whose works are presented at "As You Can See” exhibition) in Bródno Sculpture Park and Kuba Ziołek (Stara Rzeka) playing live to Agnieszka Polska’s visual material on Plac Defilad (Parade Square).
