Description by Filmoteka Muzeum

The cycle Crisis is a video-diary record of the daily life of a young artist who struggles with a creativity crisis. The work depicts her gradual detachment from reality and immersion in her own world where ways to overcome depression and malaise provide inspirations for new artistic activities. The artist’s notebook records everyday situations, scenes and events, which are intertwined with elements of performance, creation and autobiographical fiction. The result is a sequence of short films akin to those uploaded by young girls on You Tube. The artist unveils her own space and invites the viewer to her world full of magic occurrences and objects that come alive in the hands of the artist and take part in her colourful life.
